Bertha always treated me and my son Brandon like we were her own family. She was the best influence on my son's life and I believe she was a Saint sent to earth for all who knew her. I learned my way around the kitchen from Bertha, especially canning. She could do anything. Pure Love ❤️ ran through her veins.
I am in California and Brandon is in Oregon but we are with all her wonderful Family in spirit.

Another Newton cousin gave me the information on Bertha. My thoughts are with the family. I am sure you have lots of loving memories to sustain you in this time of grief.

Bertha was one of the first family members I had contact with after I started doing Newton genealogy. She graciously gave me updates and photos on her branch of the family. We are first cousins once removed. My grandmother was Elsie Irene Newton Wing. I hope one of the family will take up this connection for more information on the the descendants of her branch.
