Weston,MA-Mrs. Evelyn E. (Berry) Landry, of Greenfield, died Wednesday, December 22, 2011 in Epoch of Weston. She was 94.   Born on February 2, 1917 in Springfield, Evelyn was the daughter of the late Louis and Fannie (Loomis) Berry. Her schooling was in Florence and Smith Vocational School in Northampton. She was a lifelong resident and remembered for her many gifts of homemade custard to the homebound and infirmed.   Her gifts from God were exemplified in her work. She was a professional dressmaker and also taught this trade of dressmaking, tailoring and home economics at the Narragansett Regional High School in Templeton for many years to both student and adult. She also taught in Turners Falls, South Deerfield and Greenfield. She also had a talent for painting with water colors and sketching. Faithful to her church she was a lifelong communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church where she served as Eucharistic minister. Mindful of those less fortunate she volunteered at the Greenfield Soup Kitchen and the hospital gift shop. Loving, giving, talented, artistic, creative, generous and a gift of humor are words her family uses to describe and remember Evelyn.   Her husband of 64 years, Edward F. Landry died in 2003 and her only sibling, Hazel Pratt died in 2011. She leaves her children, Cynthia A. Labow of Needham, Susan M. Landry of Worcester, Gail K. Whittle and her husband, Glenn, Charles E. Landry and his wife, Karen of York, Maine and Cheryl M. Doucet and her husband, Cy, of Waltham; 9 grandchildren, Kimberly Labow, Scott and Stuart Whittle, Sean Whittle, Cindy Dow, Alix Landry, Kelly Landry, Michele and Kristen Doucet; 8 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.   Family and friends will honor and remember Evelyn's life by gathering for calling hours at Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, on Wednesday, December 28th from 8:45 - 10:45am before leaving in procession to Blessed Sacrament Church, 221 Federal Street where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM.
